Our individual journey is not a quick one. We need to remember to be patient with ourselves. Our “homecoming” is not a quick process either. We have been wired a certain way, learned certain behaviours and protected ourselves with defence mechanisms and behaviours that have served us. Although these behaviours no longer protect us, it is not that simple to change them. We need to learn to understand ourselves before we can grow. Part of this journey is slowing down so that the transformation can take place. Be gentle, you will be meeting parts of yourself you have never met.

Thursday 25th April 2924, a new group will be beginning at The Bigger Picture Clinic.

The interpersonal group is a space to connect to the deeper layers of yourself and others.

The group will meet weekly. This is an invitation and joining this space is a commitment to attend each fortnight.

✨ $65 per group
✨ 6.00pm-8.00pm
✨ Space held by Rachel ( Registered Psychotherapist)

Our bodies remember. They are living time capsules, embodied memories of the past, sojourners through the present, and expeditioners toward the future.
Not only do our bodies hold memories, they are also speaking to us throughout the day. The stories of our lives are carried in our bodies, waiting to be told and longing to be heard. Can we hear what stories our bodies are telling us about our lives, about our greatest hurts and greatest hopes? Do we care to listen?
Important parts of our stories can be found by paying greater attention to the signals of our bodies. Some bodies talk louder than others; some have more to say than others. But every single body has a story to tell.
What is your body saying?

Unfortunately, we are often conditioned to ignore the signals from our bodies or to have contempt for them. But what if we stepped towards these signals our bodies are trying to give us with curiosity instead of contempt? What if we thanked our bodies for trying to share their stories and invited them to tell us more, instead of scolding them for speaking up. What parts of our bodies - and our stories - are we dismissing ?

Often visible and invisible scars are remnants of difficult chapters in our stories that have not been nurtured. Inviting someone to journey alongside us, hear our stories, and carry our burdens leads to greater integration, healing, and growth.
